This working group is built on the work initiated in 2022 to analyze the social economy from a gender perspective. Following a first phase that resulted in several major scientific publications, the group is entering a new stage structured around four main axes:

  1. Critical review of the foundational thinking of the SSE
  2. Reviewing and incorporating the intersectional theoretical approach
  3. Improving data collection and analysis
  4. Sectoral and territorial analysis

In terms of organization, the group will launch an online questionnaire to form working sub-groups, each coordinated by two researchers, fostering a collaborative and comparative dynamic at the international level. The work will follow a progressive schedule from 2026 to 2028, combining online seminars, in-person meetings, and the production of research outputs, with dissemination planned through international conferences and various academic publications.
