Biography
Gedikkaya graduated in 2010 with high honors from Gazi University, where she studied Public Administration. In 2011, she began her master's degree in Management Sciences at the Institute of Social Sciences at the same university, earning her degree in 2013 with a thesis titled “Approaches of Management Theories to Leadership.”Gedikkaya started her PhD studies in the Department of Public Administration at the same institute. She completed her PhD program in 2018 with a thesis titled “Family Policies in Turkey: An Analysis on the Period 2003-2018.”
Since 2019, she has been working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Istanbul Gelisim University. Gedikkaya serves as an editor for several publications, including "Public Administration and Women Volumes I and II," "Encyclopedia of Public Policies," "History of Ministries of the Republic of Turkey," and "Administrative Structure Reviews."
She continues to conduct research on organization and management theories, as well as public administration. policies (policy evaluation, policy success).
