Biography

My scientific activities focus on the role played by Third Sector Organisations in challenging existing economic inequalities and initiating deep societal transformations toward sustainability. More specifically, I conduct research on social innovation as new ways of doing, framing, organizing, and knowing in the (long-term) care sector in Europe, and on new socio-economic practices run by feminist businesses. I also supervise PhD research on gender-based violence and policies addressing them. From 09/2022 to 09/2024, I was responsible for designing and implementing an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion policy at UCLouvain. My work combines insights from both socioeconomics and gender studies and has a strong empirical grounding. I am committed to implementing research methods with a transdisciplinary design, as most projects are conducted with field actors.
