The report prepared for the European Commission – European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) – by corporate authors (CIRIEC, EURICSE, European Commission, University of Valencia)will be presented in Brussels at the European Council and Social Committee on 07/02/2025, 10:00-13:00, at the invitation of Giuseppe Guerini and Justyna Kalina Ochędzan, co-spokespersons of the Social Economy Category.
- Chiara Carini & Giulia Galera (EURICSE) and Rafael Chaves Avila (CIRIEC) will highlight the key messages.
- Eduardo Pedroso (CASES – Portugal) and Eric Bidet (ADDES – France) will share two national illustrations about how to compile statistics.
A debate on the implications of the report and on the EU’s priorities in the field of the social economy for the 2024-2029 period will follow with various EU institutions and organisations reacting.
