Biography

Gabriel Burdin is Associate Professor in Economics at the University of Leeds. He is also IZA Research Fellow and affiliated researcher at FCEA, Universidad de la República (Uruguay).

Gabriel’s research lies at the intersection between labour economics and organizational economics. He has a strong interest in the economics of employee representation, employee-owned firms, and cooperatives. He is co-editor of Annals of Public and Cooperative Economics and member of the editorial board of Journal of Participation and Employee Ownership.
