Currently reliable and comparable statistics on cooperatives are missing in most countries of the world. Bouchard,\u00a0Madeg Le Guernic\u00a0and\u00a0Damien Rousseli\u00e8re\u00a0presents a general overview of how cooperatives and key concepts are measured for statistical purposes.<br \/>\nReport\u00a0discussed at the COPAC Technical Working Group on Cooperative Statistics Meeting Geneva, May 2017 \/ International Labour Office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-9968 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ciriec.uliege.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/20thicls-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"160\" height=\"90\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ciriec.uliege.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/20thicls-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ciriec.uliege.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/20thicls-700x400.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.ciriec.uliege.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/20thicls.jpg 767w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 160px) 100vw, 160px\" \/>On 18th\u00a0October 2018, the\u00a0<em><strong>Guidelines concerning Statistics of Cooperatives<\/strong><\/em> were adopted\u00a0at the 20th International Conference of Labour Statisticians.<br \/>\nThe delegates from across regions as well as workers\u2019 and employers\u2019 delegates welcomed the draft guidelines and voted for their adoption at the ILO Headquarters in Geneva.<br \/>\nIn their comments, the delegates underlined the importance of developing reliable and globally comparable statistics of cooperatives.
