On the initiative of its President, Willi Hanss, and in order to commemorate the founder of CIRIEC, the biennial “Edgard Milhaud” Prize was awarded for the first time on the occasion of the 2010 Berlin Congress.<\/p>\n

Good for the sum of 7 500 euros, the “Edgard Milhaud” Prize will distinguish the work of a young doctoral student on a matter of interest to CIRIEC.<\/p>\n

Each national section is required to name one or two candidates. An international panel headed by Prize is chaired by Mr. Jos\u00e9 Luis MONZ\u00d3N, Universidad de Valencia, Executive Director of CIRIEC-Espa\u00f1a, chose the winner.<\/p>\n

The selection criteria include the scientific quality, relevance and the benefits for society in general.<\/p>\n

The 2022 theme is \u201cNew global dynamics in the post-Covid era: challenges for the public, social and <\/strong><\/em>cooperative economy\u201d.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The 2022 Prize<\/strong> will be awarded at CIRIEC’s 33rd International Congress (13-15 June 2022 in Valencia, Spain)<\/p>\n
