University of Agriculture in Krakow<\/strong><\/p>\n Aleja Mickiewicza 21, Contact persons:<\/p>\n The University of Agriculture in Krakow is a public university educating at the higher level, conducting specialized research and teaching activities in the field of agriculture, food industry, forestry, environmental protection and environmental engineering, in all their functional aspects, i.e. natural, technical, social and economic . The university broadens and popularizes knowledge, creates innovations aimed at promoting food safety and climate neutrality, improving the competitive advantage of the economy sector based on biological materials and processes, in response to the emerging challenges for society and civilization. The University of Agriculture operates on a European scale, constantly improving its processes and has the ability to influence, in particular, the region of Central Europe. The University’s potential is used in research and implementation projects, in educational activities based on cooperation with business, social organizations, state and local administration, and constantly developing international cooperation with leading academic centers in the European Union and in the world. In line with this tradition, the University of Agriculture carries out its main tasks of expanding knowledge, raising the scientific level of its research workers, educating research staff and students in the spirit of respect for academic values \u200b\u200band responsibility for the ideas of humanism, freedom and tolerance, maintaining ethical standards, promoting openness to people, knowledge and the world. The strategic goals of the University result from the overarching goal: development of research and teaching potential and the effective use of this potential, which is conditioned by the continuous improvement of our processes. The resources and offer of the University is primarily focused on solving the problems of the broadly understood agribusiness sector and rural areas. By implementing its overriding goal, the University develops and improves the platform for scientific cooperation, responding to the needs of the dynamically developing economy and society, and enriches its educational offer by adapting it to current and forecast changes in the labor market. This attitude also allows us to meet the challenges indicated by institutions and organizations established to protect the natural environment and to promote the sustainable development of local, national and international communities.<\/p>\n
